The Bruery Autumn Maple:

This was pretty good, but not what I expected, which can sometimes throws one off a little. Simlar to (and perhaps better than) some of the finer pumpkin beers. I just figured this was going to be a sweet maple-y dessert beer, but it’s more like a very heavily spiced (more than I prefer) sweet potato pie. The spices are quite varied, and certainly make for an complex beer. I know in hindsight that I should have let this warm up a lot more to really enjoy it the way it was meant to be. I’d kind of like to give this one another shot soon.
